About this year's distribution of grants, the Gaubier Foundation writes:

“2024 was a happy year for the Gaubier Foundation. These have been more favorable times, and we have just been able to award four grants to four exciting dance artists:

Choreographer My Grönholdt from the dance company MYKA. The contemporary freelance dancer Marcus Alexander Roydes. Choreographer Gunilla Lind from the dance company VOMP. And the classical ballet dancer, the solo dancer Ryan Tomash of the Royal Ballet. Big congrats!

At the ceremony, ballet director and former Gaubier recipient Sorella Englund came as a special guest and gifted us all with loving words about being in the dance world together.

With a lump in my throat and loving regards to the Gaubier Foundation's nestor, the ballet critic Erik Aschengreen, who died exactly one year ago.”
